#43: Arrange a Piece for Chamber Ensemble

I'm not the best at learning how to properly update my blog. If I was, I would put in a sound clip of the piece I just arranged for clarinet quintet: Teenage Dream by Katy Perry! How do you get middle school clarinet players practicing? Well, you can't. It's impossible. But this is my latest attempt.

This is also helping out with another goal, #34: Start a Benefit Concert for the Eighth Grade Class. I'm attempting to pull off Vivaldi's Gloria in the spring, which is tough for a middle school, but (apparently) doable. Also started work on Ticheli's Abra Cadabra for band, and it was...interesting. Have I dropped enough Ithaca College approved National Standard's of Music Education-esque titles to make you forget that I'm bringing a "chamber music" piece from the same singer that brought you the lyrics, "I kissed a girl, and I liked it"? Regardless, #43 is hereby officially checked off.
